Kathy, I will miss you as the helm of Pink Chalk, but I’m sure that Adrianne will be a fitting person to step into your big shoes.
I will miss your smiling face!

A New Year
Hi Kathy,
I’m so sorry to hear about your dad’s passing. Reading between the lines, I think I have picked up other changes in your family make-up. I hope the girls are adjusting to the new house and life. Your new pic is great. I wish my hair was as lovely as yours is. Congratulations on making it through the big changes with Pink Chalk. Love the quilt you’re finishing up.
Keep up the good work, and don’t be a stranger with the blog. We love to hear from you.

Present Perfect by Betz White – Book Review
As usual, you had the right combination of fabrics to make it look great! I don’t usually like things with pleats as too frou-frou for me, but I like this one.

Fall Quilt Market 2013 Trend Report
Thanks for the great pics, Kathy. I think my favorite of all the trends is that there won’t be SO many new lines! I love so many of them and have trouble resisting, but it’s hard to decide what I “can’t live without” without having to start living in my car.

What we’re making! Peony Dress by Colette Patterns
Wow! I seldom comment on clothing I see posted, but that is one spectacular dress. I love that fabric with that pattern. Great job Lydia and grandma. 😎

Where I Sew – Latifah Saafir of The Quilt Engineer
I’m really enjoying the “where I sew” series. It’s fascinating to see where others sew. It would be interesting to see a man’s sewing space, too.
