Inspired by Alison Glass

We just got this beautiful panel by Alison Glass in the shop. I keep looking at it thinking about how much I love Alison’s color palette and how I would love a little bundle of coordinating solid fabrics to play with.

The next thing you know the worktable is a flurry of activity as we audition colors. I love what we came up with and there are a few extra bundles if you would like to play too.

From Left to Right:

  1. Raven
  2. Silver
  3. Cerise
  4. Hot Rose
  5. Tiger Lily
  6. Saffron
  7. Grellow
  8. Wasabi
  9. Bonsai
  10. Bahama
  11. Oasis
  12. Marine
  13. Morning Glory

We have half yard and fat quarter bundles available in the shop.

  2. Sometimes that’s the best way to use a gorgeous print like that — you can “steal” the color palette from the selvage dots and use them to pull solids, knowing you will love the mix since you love them in the print! I’ve been eyeballing that Allison Glass panel, too. I haven’t purchased it yet because it hasn’t clicked with an idea in my head yet, if you know what I mean, and I’ve got several different projects that I’m working on right now anyway. But I LOVE IT that you’ve made a coordinating solids bundle and now I feel those design wheels starting to spin around back there — and this is before I’ve even finished my first latte! 😉

    • I bought the panel because it was just too pretty not to! However, I’m still casting about for a design idea. These luscious solids really enhance it nicely!
