What Goes With What? Good Hair Day by Kim Andersson

What solids coordinate with Good Hair Day by Kim Andersson?

Kona cotton in coal, bone, ice peach, salmon, navy, torch, pool, canary and cerise.

Good Hair Day is Kim Andersson’s second line of fabric for Windham Fabrics featuring playfully sophisticated hair bows, combs and bobby pins. This fabric line has a fabulous retro color scheme mixed with Kim’s modern design sensibility. Added to the stack are a few Artisan Cotton fabrics, also from Windham. These are woven using two different colors adding a subtle interest to the fabric.

Good Hair Day is brand new this month and arriving at local quilt shops. You can read more about Kim Andersson on her website, I Adore Pattern.

Happy Sewing,

  1. Wow… I never liked grays like coal in my quilts, but it really goes here. I love how coal and bone balance out the richer colours.

  2. Made an “Apple Cider Market Tote” for my nephew, who is a stylist, from this collection…it turned out great!
