  2. Whoops….I was so anxious to know your price I skipped reading the remainder of your email????. Yes you have been on quite a journey, one similar to my own and I truly understand every aspect. I am not so much interested in buying the business for myself but I have niece who may be.

  6. Dear Kathy,
I am not at all interested in buying your wonderful shop, but I must tell you, that while you were in the biz, I was able to come there twice, and found both you, your employees, and your space to be one of the most welcoming, creative and dependable in my quilting world. I am also grateful to hear of your journey and be able to further understand what brought you to this place. It goes without saying that you are missed. Big Time. The wonder of life is that as long as it’s supposed to, it goes on, and we continue to wander, stray, vary, explore, learn, teach and love. My own life, because suddenly my husband has inoperable lung cancer, has also taken a sharp turn of late. I am grateful for what I have, and will treasure our 53 years together while realizing, that I will go on. It’s sad, but real, and that’s the way life is. thank you for the happiness you gave to me. Sincerely, I mean that.

  8. I get hundreds of emails everyday and pass by most of them. But this morning, yours was early on the list and I chose to read it. Thank goodness! A friends once sent me a note, “We don’t go through life; we grow through life.” You are growing.
I Have owned a successful interior design business for 31 years and this year, was a stagnant year. For most of it, I was done, worn out, disillusioned, wanted to retire. But something happened last week that inspired me. I bought a Platinum 16 quilting machine! I have to pay for it! I am encouraged to give it one last wonderful year! And then, who knows? Quilting?

  9. Thank you so much for a progress report! Glad you are journeying through life.
I think of Pink Chalk often as I pick up a fabric to work on I know I received in the mail from Pink Chalk. Whoever goes forward with domain and quilt shop format, has a quality, creative reputation to follow as well as loyal customer base. Journey happy Kathy!J
