Highlight: Kona Color of the Year
Love yellow, it’s one of my favorite colors and the background for my favorite scrappy quilt that I made a couple years ago. I’ll be anxious to see it in person.
Giveaway: Carkai + Coordinates
Love the bundle, thanks for the giveaway.
The Magic Pattern Book By Amy Barickman – Book Review
I haven’t sewn clothes for myself in many years. I’ve sewn for grandkids, quilted and crafted. I’ve been wanting to get back to fabrics other than quilting cotton and make clothes that fit and move with me.
I’d so love to win the book and get started with real sewing again.
A New Direction
Dear Kathy, I love what you’ve done with Pink Chalk Fabrics. You are way above other sites that just sell fabric. I wish you luck as you follow your heart in a new direction. Good luck and keep us advised. I’ll be so anxious to see where you’re going and hope I can tag along.
Fall Quilt Market 2013 Trend Report
Kathy, thank you for your thoughtful, intelligent report on Fall Market. You put things in perspective. I love fabric and design although I’m not a designer; it takes me a long time to reflect and revisit projects before I can commit to them. I’m happy to hear that mfrs are slowing down on new lines. I love it all; the traditional and the new designs. I love all the colors. I love the prints and the solids. I want them all.
