Where I Sew – Sara Lawson of Sew Sweetness

on Jul 4, 2014 in Sewing, Where I Sew | 82 comments

I design bag patterns for my sewing pattern line, Sew Sweetness. My first book, ‘Big-City Bags’, was released in November 2013 by Martingale Publishing. I’m currently working on my second book. Recently I started designing fabric. My first line for Art Gallery Fabrics is called Jungle Ave., which is out now in shops. My blog is another creative outlet that I love where I post my finished sewing projects as well as hosting fun sew along events several times a year.

  14. It would be great if you could share more than one photo of each of these spaces and take time to share more information about where and why things are stored. These posts always leave me wanting more as I love touring sewing rooms. 🙂

  23. What a wonderful looking space – Sara is very creative! I would love to find a way to move my computer closer to my sewing machine, especially for those times I am using a tutorial to sew something – I have to get up from my chair and walk a few steps to my desk. And the carpet makes it difficult to move my chair back and forth……Thanks for the give away!

  24. The wall hanging (what I can see of it) is quite nice. I’m afraid I’m pretty distractible. If my computer was so close I’d never get anything done. : )It would be great for tutorials though. Thanks for the sneak peek.

  25. I like the shelves underneath the table – it seems like a good use of space and I might try it (I live in an apartment with not as much storage space as my stash would appreciate!)
