I would love to learn how to fix a garment that doesn’t fit right. All too often, I’ve sewn garments that don’t fit or look right, despite filtering the pattern correctly.

I tend to log a lot of hours in the car — whether being the family chauffeur or road trips during summer break — so being able to take a project with me would be great. I also recently read The Last Runaway by Tracy Chevalier, in which the quilting (American and British traditions) that the protagonist does is almost a character in the story itself, and I would be interested in learning some more about the paper piecing technique.
