What We’re Making! More Penny Sampler by Rachel of Stitched in Color

Cindy finished more Penny Sampler blocks to share from Rachel Hauser’s class at Stitched in Color. The Little Village Block is Cindy’s favorite! I love the fussy cut cars in the bottom left corner.

The Spruce Forest block is 9.5 x 18.5. Rachel had a clever way of cutting the pieces for those elongated triangles that was new to Cindy and worked great. On the right is, Stacked Pine measuring, 6 x 12 inches.  Look closely in super pale colors to find a bears nose.

The 12 inch Snowflake block took a while to cut the Alison Glass Sun Print Text background fabric to make sure it was reading all in the same direction.

Too see more of Cindy’s blocks have a look at the previous post on the Penny Sampler. To follow Cindy’s blog, pop on over to Daisy Days.

Happy quilting!
