Where I Sew – Carrie Bloomston of SUCH Designs

on Jul 30, 2013 in Where I Sew | 57 comments

Carrie Bloomston is a seeker, mama, artist, and designer. My work – whether abstract painting, designing sewing patterns and fabric, or parenting, is all about expressing joy and love. For me, art is a place to figure the world out – to make sense of it. Expressing myself through art and design allows me to share the joy and awe I feel with others. Think of me as your inner-artist enabler. I want to help you celebrate your inner artist, too.

  3. I love the cabinets for fabrics with doors to fully protect them from sunlight. But she needs a new chair! It’s so much better to sew in a chair with lumbar support and wheels, especially if you’re going to be at the machine for any length of time at all.

  4. I love your chair. We inherited a similar chair from my dad, and it is one of my favorite places to sit, just as it has been since I was a kid. Now I’m thinking I should move it into my sewing room.
