What We’re Making! Sampler Pin Cushion by Cindy

on Nov 16, 2012 in Sewing, What We're Making | 9 comments

Cindy created a stitch sampler pin cushion using the Pink Chalk Color Box Embroidery Floss. We oo’d and aah’d over the stitching and the bird pin! Etsy is a great place to find all sorts of pin toppers. What a fun little goodie for a special friend at the holidays.

Happy embroidering!

  1. OMG job well done!!!!! It’s the most beautiful pin cushion I’ve ever seen. I wouldn’t want to poke pins in it.

  2. This is so darn cute! I’ve got a few pincushions that I keep for decoration and this would be right up with them!

  4. That is darling. It could be a “grab and go” project, though I’d probably become quite absorbed in it no matter where I was workin gon it. “Doctor is ready for me? Who cares–I have another square to complete.”

  5. This is sooooooo cute!!! Especially with the happy little bird pin! And a quick stitch, too — we like maximum gratification/minimum effort!
