Where I Sew – Julie Herman of Jaybird Quilts

on Jul 14, 2012 in Sewing, Where I Sew | 95 comments

Julie is a prolific quilter, passionate color fanatic, and the creative force behind Jaybird Quilts. Her patterns celebrate Julie’s love of clear, bold, saturated prints and modern geometric lines. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Julie moved to San Diego last year and shares a studio with her mom. Jaybird Quilts was born the day she decided to trust herself and took the leap by starting a blog and following her dream of publishing her quilt designs. Julie’s first book Skip the Borders is scheduled for an August 2012 release.
