Anna Banana

It’s done! I’m so excited and exhausted. I’ll keep this one short.

Anna Banana is a collection of 4 designs for the table. A table runner in two different sizes, place mats, and place cards. It includes several fun techniques that I think you’ll enjoy.

The pattern is available in the shop, located on my much meddled and tinkered with website. Please be kind and pass along any goofs, typos or things I can’t even imagine could be wrong. I’ve implemented Paypal’s new shipping functionality that allows me to define different rates by destination country. You’ll see a single order button (yay, thank goodness for the small things). This calculation takes place at the time you check out. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for at least a week.

This pattern was extremely fun to design and write. It also could not have happened without two very talented and extremely generous blogging friends. Kate of KC Quilts and Anina of Twiddletails did the testing and then some. Their thoughtful recommendations and keen perspective propelled the pattern far beyond what it was when it first arrived in their inbox.

Kate commented to me that even though most quilt patterns say ‘quilt as desired’, it would be nice to provide some quilting ideas. I did just that and I’m so pleased with the addition.

Thank you both for lending me your patience and expertise.

I have about a million more things to chatter about. Full size pics of the small and large runners on Flickr. Talk to you soon…zzzzzzzzz.
